I was in the mood for a seasonal brew, but entered the store almost oblivious to what was on the market. In the past, it seems that that connoisseurs have already tried and posted on the current seasonal brews. I hope that this post will encourage those more fluent in the nectar of our grains, to post on the new brews of the season and maybe a complete dissection of each. I have posted the two flavors that caught my eye this morning. Unfortunately, even though the Pacific Northwest is saturated with breweries, I did not see many festive local brews. I will try to venture a little further than the gas station across the street in the future, but would like the input from our exit177 enthusiasts before I do so.

Omaha public power is quick to point out these are just nuclear scare tactic rumors probably started in Lexington or by some liberal in Nancyville.

Rumor: Fort Calhoun Nuclear Station is at a Level 4 emergency or level 4 alert.

This terminology is not accurate, and is not how emergencies at nuclear power plants are classified.
Fort Calhoun Station (FCS) declared a Notification of Unusual Event (NOUE) on June 6.
A NOUE is the least-serious of four emergency classifications established by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
FCS declared a NOUE because the Missouri River was projected to reach 1,004 feet above mean sea level. (It reached that height on June 9.)
The FCS plant’s reactor has been in cold shut down for a planned refueling outage since April 9. It will remain in that condition until the river recedes.
The reactor and spent-fuel pool are in a normal, stable condition and are both protected; there has been no release of radioactivity and none is expected.

Ready to Drink (RTD) supplements are not new, they have been in circulation for quite some time. RTD's are actually a mainstay for DI athletics supplementation protocols. I recently was given a very good deal by a supplement company, so I purchased a decent amount of RTD's from them (seems like a good product with a nice bang for your buck amount of protein), and have been drinking them daily.

While strolling through the gas station the other day, I saw a product that was packaged similar to the RTD's that I have been drinking. I had to stop to get a closer look though, as this product was front and center in the alcohol section. A closer look revealed that it was not a supplement, but a new breed of boxed wine.

The audience of exit177 had to be made aware of this, if not already aware, as many could benefit from such a product.

The Sandy Balls Golf Tournament is a 15-hole, four-man scramble golf tournament held on a 5-hole course in the middle of nowhere. Each team of four is only allowed to bring 4 clubs (5 including a putter). Oh, and there's a ton of beer. All proceeds benefit the RV* / 2011 Husker Tailgating Season.

What sort of degree do you get to be the dude in the dog-training bite suit? Any help appreciated. I need this career, at least for a year or so. Probably the 'or so'.

I could guess that relevant skills include both animal behavior and the ability to act like a criminal (Both of which I'm a natural), but I'd just be guessing, and I don't have a lot of time to fool around here.
