Nebraska Snow

This is a drift in the middle of the road, next to Shannon's house, in Norfolk. That dang stuff kept us there an extra two days, and we missed the NP Christmas, but it makes for a good story and a few good pictures.

Side note: I thought I could at least get around town the first day of this blizzard, only to get stuck down the street in what was probably the base of this thing. Luckily we got out after a few minutes of maneuvering.

The Planet should sue this guy's family

I thought we all understood these sorts of events were reserved for North Platte.
A local (my local) Contra Costa County high school teacher was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident. Oh, and he was recently teaching driver's ed. Oh, and he hit a street sweeper. You mean the same vehicle that is approx. 20' high and 15' wide with giant, loud, spinning brushes, averaging 3.5 miles per hour? Yes, those.
Ed. Note; this is less about being funny and more about memorializing irony.

Look out Good Knievel

Funniest video I've seen in a while:

Blakroc. It's good, on the verge of great.

Blakroc is the Black Keys mixed with a slew of rappers n' shit, including Q-Tip, Mos Def, RZA, Raekwon and more. The Black Keys by themselves are bad ass, and the list of rappers is awesome...but I wish they would've included more of the Black Keys signature dirty rock sound. In my eyes, that's the one thing keeping this album from an A+. Regardless, it's still damn good. "Hope You're Happy" is what I'm talking about...sucka.

If you get this album, I'd love to know what you think.
