Mathew P. Coaltrain

turns 29 today.
One more year and his sport blazers will match his age.
On an un-happier note, I forgot I made this blog a while back.
Please add to it.

For your Friday
This guy has won the freestyle category of the WBMC's (World Beard and Mustache Championship) every year in recent memory.
Except the year he had an accident with a power drill and was on I.R.
I tried to find an image of what a power drill would do to his facial lettuce. Unfortunately, no luck. I bet it would have look something like this.
Here are this year's WBMC winners. Happy Friday sluts.

Beer? Exits? The stars are aligning for the Blog Apocolypse.

Get a load of this article from the Associated Press:
NJ brewery draws ire for naming beers after exits
The brewer is Flying Fish Brewing Company.
Wouldn't that be something to have an Exit 177 beer. What would it taste like?

Top Summer Albums of '09

For this post, I was inspired by one of my favorite radio stations, KCRW in Santa Monica. They recently had their hosts rate all of the summer albums and come up with personal top-ten lists.
But before I post their results, I want to get the 177's opinion on the topic. What do you think are the best albums so far this year? And because we all haven't purchased or heard 10 different albums, let's just try five.
And if you've never heard of KCRW, I highly recommend it. Their morning show: "Morning Becomes Eclectic" is absolutely rad, with live in-studio performances by some great bands.
Dig.
